Hello Arcadia Community,
We have the opportunity on Thursday, November 7th (and 12/5, 1/9, 2/6, 3/6, 4/3 & 5/8) to prepare and distribute bags of food from the food bank to our community. We need about 10-12 volunteers to make this happen smoothly. Volunteers will be filling grocery bags with canned food, cereal, pasta, etc, then handing bags out to our community after the bell rings. Weather permitting, we will be meeting out front by the bike racks (as this gives us the best chance to help others that don’t have students at our school, as well), so volunteers will need to be dressed for the cold. We need volunteers from 2:30-4, but even if you are not able to be there the full hour and a half, we would welcome any help you can give!
