Dear Kindergarten Families,
Thank you so much for your patience and support over the past three weeks as we’ve worked to support our classes with more than 30 students each. We know this has been a challenge, and we appreciate your understanding during this transition.
We are excited to announce that Mrs. James will be joining us as our third kindergarten teacher! Over the past three days, we have carefully reviewed beginning-of-year data in order to strategically and equitably create three balanced kindergarten classes.
Tomorrow will be the first day Mrs. James welcomes her new students. To help ease the transition, all students should continue lining up with their current class in the morning. As the day progresses, Mrs. James will visit each classroom and escort her new students to her room.
We know many of you are eager to meet Mrs. James. We encourage you to email her directly to schedule a time to connect. In addition, parent–teacher conferences are just two weeks away, which will also provide an opportunity to meet with her. The link to the class lists is below.
