Students are to come to school dressed appropriately for the day.

It’s that time of year again! We’re excited to celebrate Halloween with our annual Arcadia Halloween Parade on Friday, October 31st, at 9:00 a.m. It’s always a fun and festive event, and we can’t wait to see our students’ creativity shine. We will share more details soon about the parade route so families can plan where to watch and cheer

Students are to come to school dressed appropriately for the day.
❖ Inappropriately dressed students will be sent to the office, and they will need to change/fix their outfit.
The following are things to consider to maintain dress code standards:
❖ Costumes must meet dress code: no midriffs or underwear worn outside of their costume. Costumes must be mid-thigh or longer in length.
❖ Hats are acceptable if they are part of a costume, can be removed for class, and are not a distraction for others’ learning.
❖ Costumes should not impair the student’s ability to function in class, move through the halls, eat lunch, or cross the street.
❖ Props or costume parts should not obstruct other students or be a distraction in class.
❖ No weapons or facsimiles of weapons are allowed.
❖ Makeup and colored hair are fine as long as they are applied at home. Do not bring colored sprays to school. Face makeup is allowed, but faculty and staff must be able to identify the student.
❖ Halloween Masks are not allowed – your face must be identifiable.
❖ Be creative and have fun!
