We are excited to announce our 3rd year of the Arcadia Anthems Choir here at Arcadia Elementary. Choir practices will begin on Tuesday, September 10th. We will meet in the gym from 3:30 – 4:15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students will need to walk home or be picked up from each practice by 4:15 p.m.
All 2nd through 5th grade students are invited to participate! If you believe singing is “Out of This World” please come join us. We would love to have you. If you choose to participate you are agreeing to attend practice on a regular basis and to be on your best behavior. Students are expected to attend 90% of the time in order to perform with the choir.
The half-year afterschool choir program offers students 2nd through 5th grade an opportunity to explore their vocal talents and develop their musical skills. Under the guidance of Mrs. Johnson and staff assistants, students learn proper singing techniques, harmonization, and performance etiquette. This program not only enhances musical abilities but also fosters teamwork, discipline, and confidence as students prepare for various school and community performances. Please send your student with a signed parent permission form.
