Individuals with Disabilities. Granite School District is interested in alleviating any unnecessary stress to individuals with disabilities. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at the school: 385-646-4756. Since we are sometimes out for summer vacation, please leave a message so we can contact you at our first available chance. •
Utah State Board of Education has created an informational brochure for parents and caregivers to understand the developmental stages Kindergarten children are experiencing. Arcadia Generic Information:
Class lists are usually posted in the front glass windows the first week of August if your family has registered at Arcadia.
Ensuring well-being: Help your child get accustomed to our school grounds. Visit the school in the evenings and let them play on the swings and slides. Help them know their teacher’s name and the room number.
Drop-off and pick-up: Parents are asked to park their vehicles and wait with their children at the east side Kindergarten doors; no parking in the unloading zone is permitted and no parking is permitted at the front cut out of the school as that is reserved for buses only. A.M. students enter their classrooms through the east side exterior doors. After 8:40, students must come to the office for a tardy slip.
Parents are expected to pick up their students after school at the respective exterior classroom doors. If parents are late, students will be held at the office for a reasonable time. We will contact the parents after that.
Medical or academic needs and accommodations must be shared with your child’s teacher and the front office or the principal. We work as a team to serve and assist your student/s and you.
NO meds with kids at school: Please, please be aware that children must not bring any medications with them for any reason. Any medication for administration at school must have a doctor’s prescription, with the paperwork for administration, properly labeled container with child’s name, name of medicine, time of day, dosage amount, and instructions. Call us with any questions, please.
