Welcome to Red Ribbon Week, February 2-6.  The schedule for Monday - Give Drugs and Bullying the Boot - Wear your boots, Tuesday - Assembly:  The hero within - wear red or white, Wednesday - From head to toe I'm drug free - wear crazy socks and crazy hair, and Friday - team up against violent video games/apps - wear favorite team jersey or shirt.  Sounds like an awesome week! ...

On Friday, December 19, Cottonwood Elementary students left school for a long winter's recess.  I heard Mrs. McMillan exclaim err they drove out of sight,  we'll see everyone again on January 5,  may your holidays be merry and bright! ...

Cottonwood Elementary chose for their charitable fund raising drive this year the Adopt A Ghost Program.  We are helping our military and their families with much needed supplies.  We would like to thank our students for their generous donations.  An Assembly on Friday, November 21, gave us a chance to present our donations to the sponsors of this program.  A huge thank you to our PTA Friend to Friend committee for organizing this event ...

Congratulations to all our students who submitted Reflection entries this year.  We had 144 participants.  We wish our student's whose entries were selected to go on to district the very best! ...

We have scheduled a "spooktacular" Halloween parade for Thursday, October 30, at 9:00 AM.  Parents and guests are invited to attend.  Thursday will be a short day with dismissal at 1:05.  No school for students October 31 as it is the end of the quarter.  Have a "bootiful" weekend!!! ...
