We are thrilled to welcome you back to school, condors!
There is a lot of important information to share before the first day, so we hope you’ll read the following carefully.
The first day of school for students in 1st through 5th grade is Wednesday, August 12th. The first bell will ring at 8:35 a.m. and we need all condors in line ready to go inside and begin the best year yet!
KINDERGARTEN: If you have a student entering kindergarten, please note that school officially begins for Kindergarten on Monday, August 17th. August 12, 13, and 14 are reserved for one-on-one assessments with your child’s teacher. After you complete the registration process (starting July 31) and find out who your child’s teacher will be, please sign up for an assessment appointment by visiting:

Also, it is important to note that the first full week of kindergarten is on a shortened schedule to help with the transition to full-day. School will be from 8:35-1:15. There will be one bus at 1:15 that will bring bussed kindergarten students home. Be sure to notify your child’s teacher during the assessment window if your child will be riding the bus, or how they will be picked up after school.
REGISTRATION for the 2026-2027 school year opens July 31st. Parents will complete registration through their FOCUS parent portal account. (You will see it titled “Re-Enrollment”.)
*You need your child’s student number to complete registration.* All returning students should know their number. It begins with a 9 or a 4. Feel free to give us a call in the office if you need help with this number, 385-646-4798. Kindergarten parents will need to call the office on or after July 27th to get that number, email our principal, Teri Cooper, or our school secretary, Kelly Franz. A link to these emails are found under the “directory” tab.

Once registration is complete, you will have access to your student’s schedule and teacher. We will not be giving out teacher assignments over the phone. You must successfully complete the registration process before your teacher is posted on your student’s schedule in Focus.
We also hope you’ll join us for MEET YOUR TEACHER! The date is still being decided up and will be announced soon. Come meet your teachers, walk the school, and see your classroom.
NOTE: If you have specific concerns to address with your teacher, please schedule a one-on-one conference outside of the Meet Your Teacher school event.
Our amazing PTA will also be at our Meet Your Teacher event with information on upcoming activities and ways to volunteer. Be sure to visit their table!
