We are so happy to welcome you back for another wonderful school year! During our Back to School Night, classroom teachers will be explaining a little about what you can expect in that grade and class. These sessions are presentations which are important to hear from beginning to end, so we recommend that you arrive on-time and remain in the classroom for the entire presentation. Our PTA will be by the main office with volunteer sign ups, school t-shirt order forms, PTA information, and more. Be sure to visit them while you are here.
The format of back to school night will be as follows:

Solar Eclipse Safety
Safety during the Solar Eclipse:
We want to let you know that our superintendency has given us all guidance surrounding this once in a lifetime event. We have been assured that the glasses we have purchased meet the safety requirements. We will be holding activities surrounding this event to make it as educational and memorable as we possibly can for our students. Our teachers have been instructed to teach and model explicit safety and proper use of the glasses and will practice proper use with students. We will reiterate to all students, before we head outside, the importance to only look at the eclipse through the glasses and not try and “peek” without glasses on.
The district did send out an email earlier surrounding this event and parents do have the option to keep students home this day. The absence would be excused.
We are looking forward to sharing this event with our wonderful Crestview students.
Solar Eclipse
The first day of school is going to be an eventful one! With the Eclipse happening, we have been encouraged to be sure to teach and participate in this, for some, once in a lifetime event. Therefore, we will be watching the Eclipse as a school. We have ordered glasses for every student. Due to our large student population, in order to ensure safety of our students and staff, this event will be just for our students and teachers. Thank you.
