Eisenhower Junior High School (EJHS) was constructed in 1974 and named after the famous World War II general and 34th President of the United States, Dwight D. Eisenhower.
The building is sectioned into five areas. A area houses the Main Office, Counseling Center, Media Center, Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) labs, and some classrooms. Areas B, C, D, and E consist primarily of classrooms. We also have a cafeteria, auditorium, and gymnasium.
EJHS is nationally recognized as one of only nine schools in the State as “Schools to Watch” by the National Forum of Mid-level Reform.
EJHS is home to nationally certified master teachers, Ms. Andrews, who serves as a mentor for provisional teachers and Mr. Craig. We also have numerous teachers with masters degrees, and each teacher is highly qualified in their area of expertise.
EJHS is also recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records for achieving and breaking previous world records.
We welcome you to come and see all of the wonderful programs and activities that we have in place for students. Should you decide to visit, please check in with the Main Office to obtain a visitor’s pass.
