Friday, May 19, 2017 will be the last day that our morning computer lab will be open. Please do not send student to school before 7:45 on the last week of school. Our School Community Council helps make decisions regarding the LAND Trust funds, looks at school needs, approves school plans, and looks at school data. The council is valuable in giving parents a voice in many decisions made at the school. For the 2017-2018 school year, Hillsdale will have two parents remaining on our Community Council. We had an amazing day at our Fun Run. Thank you to Grizz Bear and the Grizzlies players who came at lunch. We have great students who ran a lot and fabulous teachers who helped us tally the laps. Keep getting those donations for the school and bring your money envelopes back to school by Friday. We will have our prize assembly next week. We have been collecting prizes donated from many of the local businesses for our upcoming Fun Run. The kick off assembly will be on Friday, March 3rd. Donation envelopes will come home with students at that time. Students should get donations from friends and family, but should not go door to door to people they do not know. We were sad to say good-bye to Lori Schmidt, our Intern Assistant Principal, earlier this month. She has been assigned to Matheson Junior High School. We wish her luck in her new assignment. What is a Fun Run? It is a fun and healthy alternative to the traditional sales-based fundraiser. We keep 100% of the money raised to support our school community. The money raised will go to help our students go on fun field trips, earn exciting assemblies and provide classroom supplies.
