• Hillside has not been designated as a Summer Breakfast or Lunch program site this year.
• School Registration takes place online starting July 26 for returning students. For new students, please come to the office during office hours starting July 26^th. Bring immunization record, birth certificate, and proof of address to register.
• Back to School Night is tentatively set for August 10 from 5:00—6:00 in teachers’ classrooms

Hillside Elementary will have 5th Grade Maturation on April 19, 2022, at 1:30 PM. A consent form will be sent home in the next week. Please have your student return this form to their teacher with parent/guardian approving or denying permission to attend.

We welcome parents of 5th grade students to attend Maturation with their student.

We respect and understand many parents prefer to have this discussion with their students in lieu of the school. Here are some resources you may find helpful.

Reminder: This week is the end of Quarter 3! That means that tomorrow, March 24, 2022, is a short day. School will be out at 1:40. Also, there is no school on Friday, March 25, 2022! We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday, March 28, 2022, ready to learn and start Quarter 4.

Parents, we want to emphasize the importance of reading at home with your students as much as possible. Here is a link to learn about DYAD Reading, giving you examples of how you can engage with your students through reading, at home.

A nurse from Granite School District will be at Hillside on Thursday September 16, 2021. Grades Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, & 5th grades will be screened. Please contact the school office if you would like your child to be exempt from vision screening or if you would like your child in 2nd, 4th, or 6th grade tested.
