Welcome to Kearns Junior High! Please read all Registration instructions as some things have changed for 2021-22.
Please DO NOT register before August 2nd.
This registration is for students who attended one of the following schools last year:
- Kearns Junior High
- Fox Hills
- David Gourley
- South Kearns
- West Kearns
- Western Hills
Registration will open on Monday, August 2nd. All registration will be done online. All necessary forms including the fee waiver are online. If you need assistance registering online, or have limitations with computer access, please call us at 385-646-5204 we will be available to help navigate the online registration and set up individual, in-person appointments as needed.
Kearns Jr. will be hosting an Immunization Clinic for KJH students only on Thursday, August 5th from 10:00 – 2:00 PM. We ask that only the student and one adult be present. More information under the immunization section.
For students who are new to the area, enrollment and registration will be done in person with the Counseling Center. To schedule an appointment please call 385-646-5204 beginning July 26, 2021. Please use the School Search map to verify that your address is within our school boundaries. Granite School District and Utah State Law require that you present these personal records for enrollment:
- A current utility bill or Mortgage/Lease Agreement establishing your proof of residence within the school boundaries (no cell phone bills).
- Birth Certificate
- Immunization Records – Current through 7th Grade
- Students will NOT be allowed to attend KEARNS JUNIOR without current immunizations.
- Checkout form from the Previous School – (not required if enrolling before the start of the current school year).
In this registration process, you will:
✓ Set up a Parent Portal account (if you do not currently have one)
✓ Provide proof of required Immunizations (7th Grade)
✓ Complete Safety Forms (Technology, Head Injury & Bullying)
✓ Complete Permission for 7th Grade Vision & Hearing Screening Form
✓ Complete a Student Emergency Contact Information Card (Registration Card)
✓ Pay basic Registration Fees (Unless applying for a Fee Waiver)
✓ Apply for Free and Reduced Lunch (Not part of the Fee Waiver) FREE breakfast and lunch has been extended for the 2021-22 school year. You will still need to complete the Free and Reduced Lunch application.
All required registration forms MUST be completed on the Parent Portal.

After registration on the Parent Portal is completed, click on the SCHEDULE tab for your students class schedule.
