Air Quality is typically more of a concern during our winter inversion season. Granite School District has the following page containing information to help schools in determining actions to keep students safe during recess when air quality is a concern:
Morningside Elementary tracks the changes in air quality throughout the day and responds to the changes appropriately by notifying students and staff of the current conditions. The following website is used:
Parents, with the advice of their health care provider, should inform the school if their child is part of a sensitive group who should have limited outdoor physical activity when air quality is poor.
