This summer the USDA is offering the last Pandemic EBT (PEBT) funding to assist families in purchasing groceries for their students.
Families will qualify for the one-time payment of $120 per eligible student this summer if they qualify for free/reduced meal benefits before May 1st and are enrolled in a Granite School District school on May 1st.
We want to try and get this information out to as many families as possible so that they have an opportunity to apply for aid before the May 1st deadline. This is a great benefit for qualifying households and one of the hardest things we must do is tell them “We’re sorry, we do not have an application on file for them.”
All of the information about this last round of summer pandemic funding is posted on our district website:
All pertinent information about the summer P-EBT will also be sent in an email and text message district-wide to parents and families on Saturday. We will also send this information out again as we near the May 1st deadline.
Check out more details in the EBT Q&A (PDF) in English and Spanish (PDF).
Thanks for your help in spreading the word about this aid which can help many of our students and families.
