The above graphic contains best practices we are encouraging our distance learning teachers follow. Oakridge Elementary is aiming for three hours of distance learning each day (one and a half hours for kindergarteners.) Since distance learning is designed for students to complete on their own schedule and at their own pace, lessons will likely be pre-recorded and available for review. There will be opportunities for students to interact with their classmates and teacher as a whole group, small group, or one-on-one, but not all in one day. These opportunities will be optional. Also, Granite School District is providing distance learning teachers with robust curriculum resources so district learning will be a much higher quality than last year.
Please remember that Learning Forms are due Thursday, August 6. Email them to cdrummond@graniteschools.org or jhhale@graniteschools.org.
