The Oakridge PTA is proud to announce that Principal Christine Drummond has been selected as the Utah PTA Outstanding Administrator Award winner for the 2020-21 academic year.
“There is no one more deserving of the Utah PTA Outstanding Administrator Award than our very own Mrs. Drummond. She is an extraordinary example of a compassionate leader who centers her efforts around providing the best to each child at Oakridge,” remarked Oakridge PTA President, Anne Crawford, “Her sacrifice and dedication does not go unnoticed. She is truly an amazing asset to the Oakridge community and is always striving to ameliorate Oakridge. Mrs. Drummond has been thrown in numerous different directions this year, but is always able to proceed with a positive attitude.”
Principal Drummond will formally receive the award at the Utah PTA Annual Convention on May 5 at the Davis County Convention Center.
In January, Principal Drummond won the Skyline PTA Region which includes seven schools in the Skyline network. In March, she was named as one of two winners for Region 5 PTA which covers all 86 schools in Granite School District. The Utah PTA selection includes the entire state of Utah which has over 1050 public schools.
“I’m extremely honored and humbled by this recognition,” said Principal Drummond, “I have the best job in the world because I get to interact with the incredible students, staff and parents in the Oakridge community on a daily basis.”
Congratulations, Mrs. Drummond!
