Our students did incredible at the Sterling Scholar awards ceremony last night.
There were 210 finalists, and 14 categories. Each of our 9 finalists were among a remaining 15 students in their respective categories.
We had 1 category winner, 2 runner ups, and 1 special award.
Rebekah Moon was named the winner for the Visual Arts category!
Everest Fang was named runner-up for Mathematics.
Sophie Ack was named runner-up for Social Science.
Allison Baxter (our Family and Consumer Science nominee) was the only student presented with the Douglas F. Bates Community Service Award.
She received a $2,000 scholarship. (Ellenor Chi, our Science nominee, was also considered for this award.)
