…and Region Drama Showcase!

Adults $9, Students $7, ITS Members $5
Skyline Drama is proud to present William Shakespeare’s classic tale of ambition and paranoia, Macbeth, opening February 23rd! The production features a gender-blind cast, with senior Mekenzie Davies in the title role of the ambitious Scottish Thane, Macbeth, who ascends to the throne by murdering the King. Once possessed of the crown, Macbeth follows the prophecies of three mysterious witches in a desperate attempt to maintain her position, leaving a trail of bodies in her wake. Skyline’s production of Macbeth also features some phenomenal stage combat, choreographed by fight director Spencer Jackson Hohl. Utah audiences recently got to see Hohl’s work in the Utah Children’s Theatre production of Henry V.
Each evening’s performance will be preceded by a 30 minute showcase of individual performance pieces from Skyline’s 2017 Region Drama Competition Team! The lineup of pieces will rotate each evening, as the competitors vie for spots at the top of the rosters.
