Skyline students participated in the Salt Lake Valley Science and Engineering Fair on March 23rd. A Robotic Approach to De-escalating Police/Civilian Interactions During Traffic Stops earned first place in our Mechanical Engineering Division as well as getting the Senior Prize from the Utah Department of Transportation and made it to the top 24 projects in the Lassonde Center’s High School Utah Entrepreneur Challenge and will be competing on April 15th at the University of Utah form 4-6pm (there is a public showcase, at the Lassonde Entrepreneurship Studios). Skyline’s David Zhong also went to SLVSEF and got 1st Place in his division of Plant Sciences and received a special award from the US Air Force.
