Beverly Taylor Sorenson Arts Grant
We are so excited here at Taylorsville! We will be receiving a part-time Arts Specialist here at the school. We already have one come every Tuesday and students get to attend class twice a month. But this person is through the Beverly Taylor Sorenson Center at the U of U and will be coming to us November-January to work on Art. Village Inn Night
Thank you for coming out to our Village Inn night! It was a great way to celebrate the ending of our fundraiser and have a "family dinner." We are very proud of our second year of the WOW program. Last year it began in hopes that we could have students understand and see the benefit of knowing that school was their job. We rewarded students monthly, had class competitions, and school celebrations. This year we were able to combine our efforts with the "Everyday Counts" initiative through the school district. The Leaders of Curriculum at our school have been working hard to have a fun day for our annual Dr. Seuss day. We will be celebrating his birthday and Read Across America at 1:45, Friday, March 7th.
