We are very proud of our second year of the WOW program. Last year it began in hopes that we could have students understand and see the benefit of knowing that school was their job. We rewarded students monthly, had class competitions, and school celebrations. This year we were able to combine our efforts with the "Everyday Counts" initiative through the school district. The Leaders of Curriculum at our school have been working hard to have a fun day for our annual Dr. Seuss day. We will be celebrating his birthday and Read Across America at 1:45, Friday, March 7th. Winner, winner, chicken dinner
We have had quite a few things happen in school that resulted in getting students recognized. The students at Taylorsville Elementary work so hard and they should be called by name. As a grade level- the most box tops collected go to: SECOND GRADE!!! They collected 1,660 box tops!! Way to help contrinute to our school. 2nd grade and the Nutcracker
Before the Holiday break, our second graders were able to attend the second half of the production of The Nutcracker. The students in Ms. Earl, Ms. Terry, and Mr. Watt's class, were very excited to get dressed up and see some fancy dancing.
