West Kearns Elementary houses the Gifted Spanish/English Dual Language Immersion Program for Granite School District.  Unlike most dual language immersion programs that use a two teacher model, the program at West Kearns uses a single teacher model.  Students are invited to attend the program based on high performance on gifted testing administered during the kindergarten year.  Students enter the program at 1st grade and continue in the program through 6th grade.  With the assistance of outstanding parent volunteers and teachers, students prepare and perform an annual cultural celebration of Latin song and dance.  The 2017 program was held at Kearns High School on Friday, March 10.  Enjoy the performances again through the links below (courtesy of the Kearns High School Audio/Visual Department and Mrs. Natalie Rodgers)!
