Curricular Clubs:
- ART CLUB* / NATIONAL ART HONORS SOCIETY (NAHS): For more than 40 years, the National Art Honor Society programs have provided national recognition and opportunities for students who exhibit outstanding scholarship in the visual arts, and for their teachers. Participation in NAHS provides students, school, and community with invaluable benefits—including peer recognition, leadership growth opportunities, college and career preparation, recognition of your art program, and so much more.
- Broadcast Club: Students participate in filming and editing school announcements that highlight events, share important info, and showcases student achievements. The club fosters school spirit by promoting a sense of belonging among students that are passionate about broadcasting.
- Ceramic Circle: To promote creativity, artistic expressions, and a sense of community among high school students interested in ceramic. Through hands on experiences, educational opportunities, and collaboration, we aim to foster a love for ceramics and provide a supportive environment for members to develop their artistic skills.
- Cyprus Skills USA: SkillsUSA is America’s proud champion of the skilled trades. We’re a student-led partnership of education and industry that’s building the future skilled workforce our nation depends on with graduates who are career ready, day one. The Program of Work is made up of seven goals, that all chapters are expected to meet: Professional development – Community service – Employment – Ways and means – SkillsUSA Championships – Public relations – Social activities.
- DECA: DECA was founded in 1946 to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. DECA enhances preparation for college and careers by providing co-curricular programs that integrate into classroom instruction, applying learning in the context of business, connecting to business and the community, and promoting competition.
- Educators Rising: Originally established as Future Teachers of America in 1937, Educators Rising cultivates highly skilled educators by guiding young people on a path to becoming accomplished teachers, beginning in high school and extending through college into the teaching profession. In high school, Educators Rising supports curricular programs where students explore the teaching profession and gain hands-on teaching experience.
- Family, Career, & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) FCCLA was established in 1945 to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Involvement in FCCLA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life-planning, goals setting, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal communication necessary in the home and workplace.
- FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America): FBLA is the largest and oldest business student organization in the world. It was founded in 1937 and has always had the mission to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. Cyprus students have the opportunity to compete in events that allow students to apply the knowledge they are learning in their business courses to real life simulations and situations.
- Film Club: A place where people who have and interest in anything film related can come and share in their passion for film and share their creativity.
- French Club: This club is for anyone interested in learning more about French Culture and Language. Activities include holiday celebrations, cultural celebrations, games and movies. As a fundraiser we will sell and deliver Valentines t students at Cyprus.
- HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America): Established in 1976 HOSA enhances the delivery of compassionate, quality healthcare by providing opportunities for knowledge, skills, and leadership development of all Health Science education students, thereby helping the students meet the needs of the healthcare community. HOSA remains committed to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premiere leadership, personal growth, community service, academic scholarships, and unique internships.
- La Armada Española: National Spanish Honors Society: To engage students in the Spanish language though a variety of activities and opportunities to use and learn about the importance of the Spanish Language and culture.
- LIA (Latinos in Action): Empower Latino youth to lead & strengthen their communities through college and career readiness.

- Multicultural Student Union: Out purpose is to encourage cultural awareness, support multicultural students, facilitate dialogue, educate, and lead.

- SkillsUSA: SkillsUSA was established in 1965 as a nationwide network of students in a common bond with powerful industry partnerships. SkillsUSA us a partnership of students, teachers, and industry partners working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA is and applied method of instruction for preparing students for careers in technical, skilled and service occupations, including health occupations.
- Symphony Club: Attend the Symphony and learn about the composers. Engaging students in an appreciation of art and the musical community. Helping develop an interest in music by learning about composers and the songs as well as going to the opera.
- Technology student association (TSA): TSA was established in 1978 to foster personal growth, leadership, and opportunity in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). It is the oldest student organization dedicated exclusively to students enrolled in technology education classes grades K-12. TSA members apply and integrate STEM concepts through co-curricular activities, competitions, and related programs.
- Thespian Society: Thespians are the extracurricular component to the school’s theatre program. Its purpose shall be the advancement of standards of excellence in theatre. The club will encourage student to attain a better mastery of the theatre arts and will reward those who achieve it.
Non Curricular Clubs:
- Anime Club: Will focus on building on building connections between those interested in not only Japanese animation, but Japanese language and culture. Members will practice drawing, Japanese, and engage in conversations while participating popular anime watch parties.
- Best Buddies: The purpose is to have students with special needs grow a bond with others. We will be doing group activities along with students and their buddies.
- BSU (Black Student Union): The purpose of the club is to unify black students in our school to give them purpose and something to be a part of giving them the tools & understanding to lead and have a voice by providing a safe place to do so.
- Chess Club: Come learn, play and have fun playing chess.
- D&D Dungeons and Dragons: Provide a space for student to engage, unwind, and have fun playing Dungeons and Dragons.
- Improv Team: The Cyprus High School Improvisation Team, the Improvables, is a performing team. Therefore it is a group that must tryout for a position on the team. We hold tryouts in December each year. Our practices are twice weekly from 2:30PM to 4PM in the drama classroom. Evening performances are once a month beginning in March through May. We also hold daytime performances after school on occasion as the calendar permits. Throughout the year we hold open improvisation workshops for any interested students to participate.
- Latinx Dance Club: Share Latino culture through the art of dance.
- Peace Peeps: Provide student a safe place for LGBTQ+ Community and Allies.
- PTSA Student Board: The student board was created to give service and leadership opportunities to students of Cyprus High. The students are asked to give time and talents to help fellow students at the school, especially in the Pirate Pantry.
- Red Cross: Opportunity to give back to the community by participating in service projects and participating in with the red cross.
- Special Olympics: Help create a school climate of social inclusion, acceptance, and respect for all through the participation in organized sports for students with special needs.
