Hello Epic Eastwood Families –
Ready or not, it is almost time! I neglected to include some important information on my previous communication, sorry about that.
Lunch: LUNCH IS FREE TO EVERYONE AGAIN THIS YEAR!!! I have attached the lunch menus for August and September. You will notice that there are fewer options than in previous years, due to a change in suppliers and the difficulty in obtaining supplies. I am asking that you use disposable materials again this year if possible. Our students go out to recess after eating lunch. When reusable materials (i.e. lunchboxes) are sent from home, it is difficult to ensure that these items make it from the lunchroom to the classroom.
Back to School Night, Event, ??? I had originally announced a date and time for Back to School Night. I neglected to include my staff in setting that up. We are still talking about the best way for you to get to see the classrooms and meet the teacher while not infringing on social distancing protocols. I will let you know when we have finalized plans.
Kindergarten Parents! I announced that the Boo Hoo Breakfast has been cancelled. This is NOT the same event as the Kindergarten Picnic. That is still planned as per instructions from the kindergarten teachers. Sorry for the mix up.
Parking lot instructions: I sent you the map of the new design but neglected to add the instructions. I have attached both parts this time.
We are adding to our staff!!! If you would like to work at the most EPIC place in history, please contact me.
Social Distancing and Morning Line up: Please remind your kiddos to follow the same procedures in the morning that were used last year. If you are new to Eastwood, we will have staff outside to assist you.
