Hi Eastwood Families –
Now that we have been in school for 12 days, I am almost ready for the beginning of the school year. With our construction and all the COVID changes, it has been tough to keep up. Our construction is ALMOST complete so we will have an “Open House” during SEP’s where you will be able to see all the new improvements.
PLEASE – keep your child at home if they have a fever, cough, cold symptoms, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea or are awaiting test results. Call the school (385-646-4816) to report any absences.
I hate to even mention this BUT – construction on the pick up/drop off/parking lot did not improve our situation. We can make it work but need your cooperation on a few issues.
- Inside lane is for Drive Thru ONLY. Do not stop in the drive thru lane as no pick up will be allowed.
- Please move as far forward in the pick up lane as possible. Extra spaces slow down the process.
- Display your orange visor card. If you do not have one, I have attached the order form to this communication. Fill it out and have your child give it to their teacher.
- We start to call kiddos out of their class to their cars at 3:00 PM Monday – Thursday and 1:00 PM on Friday or the last school day of the week. Please make every effort to pick up on time.
- Be kind! Let cars in if possible! It may take a few extra minutes but the safety of our kids is the MOST important part!
We are still looking to hire a person to work in the lunchroom. If you are interested, please give me a call or send me and email.
You should have received a communication from Granite School District regarding school lunch choices. You may need to check you Junk or Trash files to find it.
