Hello Eastwood Families –
So many great things are happening at Eastwood!
We had our first SOAR Activity of the year on Friday. We have one of these events on the first Friday of each month to celebrate students who have shown great behaviors and not received more than one Choose to SOAR reminder in the previous month. I posted pictures of our Sidewalk Chalk fun on our Facebook page.

Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 can participate in a new reading incentive called Best
Books Bingo. This new program is replacing Battle of the Books. Please check out this website

We are still planning to do a Halloween Parade outside, does anyone have any connection to weather control? I will send more information prior to October 29th at 9:00 – the date and time of the parade.
Our kitchen manager, Linda Rubens, wants me to remind you that due to stalled supply chains, what is served at lunch is not always what is on the menu. She tells the kids about changes if she knows about them in a timely manner. However, many times changes happen at the last minute.
