Hello Eastwood Families –
Just a couple of items today.
- Report cards will be coming home tomorrow. Be sure to look for them.
- It looks like the Halloween Gods are smiling on us as the weather is supposed to be sunny and 62 degrees. As long as it is not raining or snowing, we will hold our traditional Halloween Parade with a few improvements. Please be sure your child’s costume is school appropriate. No weapons (even look alike ones) will be allowed.
- The parade will be outside for parents. I will attach a map of seating areas but basically, you will be sitting on the grass (or chair if you bring one) on the south lawn at the top off the hill or on the east lawn from the south end of the playground to midway down to the north. Look for cones marking the seating areas. Th kids will be parading on the green line indicated on the map.
- We will start the parade in classrooms at 9:00 and will be coming outside at approximately 9:15.
- PLEASE park at the church located at 3510 S 3610 E. A school bus (#404) will be available from 8:30-9:15 to shuttle you from the church to the school. School busses require face masks. Another school bus (#387) will be available from 9:30-10:30 to shuttle you back to your vehicle.
- ONLY those who will be staying to help with parties (teachers have already been in contact with those folks) or those with handicap parking permits will be able to park at the school. Thank you in advance for complying with this. We are trying to provide as much safe parking (not on Wasatch Blvd) as possible.
