Hello Eastwood Families!
THANK YOU to all who have donated to our “Thankful for a Bank Full” fundraiser so far. As of today, donations total $9449.62!!! We have finally been given a link for online donations (see below and attachment). Almost all of our classes have qualified for the “Extra Recess” reward. Mrs. Nichols’ class has qualified for the 2nd step in class rewards, a movie and a treat! Our goal is $15,000.
December 15 from 3:30-7:00 pm is our COVID-19 vaccine clinic. All vaccines (1st & 2nd dose and boosters) will be available. The Salt Lake County Health Department is adding an incentive for families who bring in kiddos ages 5-11 with the possibility of winning a gift card (see flyer attachment).
I want to thank all who participated in the latest Parent Survey conducted by the district. The survey shows that a vast majority of you have positive things to say about Eastwood and especially about our great teachers. We will be using the results to celebrate what we are doing well and focus on areas seen as needing improvement.
With winter approaching, please be aware that on the chance that in person school is canceled due to sever weather, we will have an online learning day. Chromebooks will be sent home with students the night before a sever storm is predicted. Watch for further instructions as the need arises.
