Dear Eastwood Families,
The Districts new online SEP scheduler Pick a Time had a glitch that allowed parents to sign up for In person times on Monday (Monday is a Virtual Day) and Virtual times on Tuesday (Tuesday is an In person Day).
If you signed up for a Monday Slot you will have the same time slot you originally signed up for but it will be changed to Virtually conference.
If you signed up for a Tuesday slot you will have the same time slot you originally signed up for but it will be changed to In Person conference.
***If you need to change your appointment, please contact the Main Office 385-646-4816, or Mr. Misco 385-646-5857 ***
We are so sorry for the confusion and will do whatever possible to accommodate you.
Attached to this email, please find instructions on how to sign up for an appointment.
Below is the notification I am required to send to you each Tuesday and Friday.
Granite School District with the assistance of Salt Lake County Health Department has identified zero positive cases at Eastwood in the last 14 days.
This correspondence is intended to keep you informed of COVID cases in your child’s school. Due to the large volume of cases and community-wide spread of the Omicron variant, contact tracing is no longer being conducted by the Salt Lake County Health Department. If you think your child has been exposed, please see the recommendations attached to this email.
We understand you may have concerns. Be assured that the situation is being monitored daily. As always, you have the right to keep your child home from school to avoid risk of exposure, and your child can make up the work that is missed.
We continue to highly encourage mask wearing on school property and the vaccine has especially proven effective at eliminating or reducing impacts from variants. Please click here for additional information on the COVID vaccine and where to receive it.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, loss of smell and/or taste, headache, muscle aches, fatigue, congestion and/or runny nose, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. If your child develops any of the symptoms, he or she should be tested. You can find a testing location at coronavirus.utah.gov/testing-locations or contact your healthcare provider.
If your child does develop symptoms, please keep them at home and isolated as much as possible. Thanks for your support as we work to keep our students and staff safe.
