Hi Eastwood Families!
Thanks to those who made time to attend SEP Conferences. Studies show that the highest factor in determining student success in school is parent support. If you were not able to attend, please contact your child’s teacher.
Tomorrow is our SOAR Read-a-Thon Party! All classrooms will have a read a thon at a time that works for the teachers. Everyone is encouraged to wear pajamas. Our PTA has generously supplied drinks and treats for everyone. If your kids try to tell you they MUST bring a treat – NOT true!
We are continuing to collect donations for the Souper Bowl of Caring (see attached flyer). So far, we have collected $414.05 with a goal of $5000.00. We know that is a high goal but we know how generous our families are and how big the need is. Please give generously.
I will attach the required case count letter. While it says we have no current cases, we actually have 2. Both were exposed outside of school.
Our PTA is looking for volunteers and board members for next year. I have attached a description of positions that need to be filled. Please contact our PTA with your willingness to help!
As you know, Eastwood is an amazing place! It is the time of year that we are deciding on how many new families will be joining us. In order to complete that process, we need you to return the “yellow note” indicating your plans for next year. If you have sent that in – Thank you! If you have not, please do so as soon as you are able (a copy is attached).
