Hello Eastwood Families –
I hope you are all looking forward to Spring Break and weather that will support your outdoor activities.
As you know, weather is unpredictable. Please be sure your kiddos are dressed appropriately at school. We highly discourage any open toed shoes (flip flops) for safety reasons.
If you want to get out of your car when dropping off or picking up your children, you MUST park in the far north lot and use the painted sidewalk. Safety matters.
We are seeing a surge of students with fevers, sore throats, nausea, headaches, etc. coming to school. Please keep your child home when they are showing these or other symptoms of possible illness.
Upcoming Calendar Events:
Monday, April 4- Friday, April 8, no school for spring break.
RISE testing for grade 3, 4 & 5 will beginning the last week of April and will run through May 20th. Please watch for schedules from your child’s teacher.
Thursday, April 21: Roof Top Picture at 9:00 AM
Thursday, May 5: Art Celebration, 4:30-6:30. Please join us to view and participate in numerous forms of art.
Friday, May 6: No school for students, Thursday the 5th is a regular day schedule with dismissal at 3:20 (11:40 for kindergarten).
Wednesday, May 11: PTA Fun Run, watch for further information.
Thursday, May 26, 5:00-6:30: Dance Fest!!!
Tuesday, May 31, Field Day
Wednesday, June 1, Last day of Kindergarten.
Thursday, June 2, 1st-5th grade last day of 2021-2022 school year. 5th Grade and Ms. Hopf clap out at 1:00 PM.
