Spring is here and third quarter is almost over. Tomorrow is a 1:15 early release and the beginning of Spring Recess. There will be no school Friday, March 24 through Friday, March 31. Fourth quarter begins on Monday, April 3. Have a safe and enjoyable Spring Recess.
USBE School Climate Survey
The Utah State Board of Education is interested in learning more about you and your child’s experience with their education. They will be invited to participate in a survey starting on April 17. This survey includes questions about your student’s learning, school safety, and interpersonal relationships. Their responses will be very helpful in improving student relationships, learning conditions, and the overall school environment. Parents will also be invited to participate.
If you do not want your child to participate, fill out the opt-out form and return it to school before April 14. There is a link on the form to view the questions for each age group.

Maturation
Carrie Ann Kemp, a registered nurse, will be presenting maturation to our students on Thursday, April 20. This presentation is recommended for fifth graders, but open to all. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend with their child(ren). Permission is required for students attending without a parent or guardian. The permission form is below and must be returned by Thursday, April 6.
- Boys’ Presentation 3:30 p.m.- 4:10 p.m.
- Girls’ Presentation 4:15 p.m.- 5:15 p.m.
- Supervision and art supplies will be provided in the cafeteria from 3:30 p.m.- 4:15 p.m. for those waiting to attend the girls’ presentation.
