After School Pickup
Thank you for helping us keep our after school pickup as smooth as possible. Please remember the following:
- Park next to the student walkway in a single file.
- Have student’s name displayed on the window of your car.
- Pull forward until your child arrives at your vehicle. Don’t stop, just keep pulling forward.
- Do not get out of your vehicle to find your child. School staff will help get your child to the vehicle.
- After your vehicle is loaded, pull out and exit the parking lot.
- If you choose to pick up your child from the playground area, park in the Visitor Parking Area and walk around. Do not park in the center parking. This will prevent children from crossing in front of traffic.
If you need new or additional Pickup Visor Cards, contact the office. We are happy to create them for you.
Halloween Festivities
We are excited to celebrate Halloween on Tuesday, October 31. Just like last year, we will be parading for families and friends outside the building. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and remember to dress for the weather.
Students will begin parading through the school at 9:00 a.m., then walk out the south doors and around the perimeter of the playground. We anticipate being outside around 9:10 a.m. After parading outside, our students will parade inside the school one more time. Our main office doors will be locked until the parade is over. Any wonderful volunteers helping with class activities need to bring id and check-in at the main office.
Please remember the following when deciding on a costume:
- Costumes must be school appropriate.
- Costumes should not interfere with learning.
- Eyes should remain uncovered (no full face masks or eye masks)
- Dress in something that is comfortable to sit in all day at a desk.
- Wear something that allows for movement in the classroom and hallways and at recess.
- Costumes may not include accessories/props that look like a weapon or could be used as a weapon.
Thank you for helping everyone to have a fun and safe day.
