Did you know that Sealants for Smiles provided professional dental care to approximately 500 Granger students? Also, dozens of families took advantage of the evening dental clinics! Thank you Sealants for Smiles, Dental Select, and Health Access Project employees and volunteers for bringing these valuable services to our Community School.
Dr. Seuss Day has come and gone, but our good memories will live on and on. We would like to thank CHG Healthcare for providing 50 volunteers to read to our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students. CHG has been an incredible friend to our Community School. Thank you!
We’ve wrapped up the writing test! Thanks for your support! Our next round of end-of-level testing begins April 20th!
471 writing tests have been completed by 3rd-6th grade students at Granger! Granger students are awesome, diligent learners!!! One more week to go on the writing test. Then we’ll have a brief respite until the next round of testing begins.
SAGE stands for Student Assessment of Growth and Excellence. SAGE is one way to measure how well teachers teach and how well students learn grade-level curriculum. We are excited to see great results from everyone’s hard work at Granger!!!

Granger Students have been working hard this year to improve individual student writing. Assessment for this writing begins on Monday, February 2nd!!! 3rd-6th students will begin taking the SAGE (Student Assessment of Growth and Excellence) Writing Assessment.
Cougars, remember to get a good night’s sleep and eat breakfast (but not at the same time)…this will help you to do your best on your test!
SEPs are February 11th and 12th. The window for online sign up will close on Friday, February 6th.

The Granger’s Lego League Team – “The Fierce Bananas” had an awesome experience competing this past weekend. Our third run in the robot games was flawless! We scored the maximum amount of points that our three missions allowed! Judging went well and we all learned so much! Lego League meetings and planning and programming will continue through this year as new students are recruited to continue the program into next year!
Our Lego League, the Fierce Bananas, is excited to compete on Saturday! Wish us luck!
