Due to increased requests for Chromebooks we are suggesting limiting pickup this morning to one per family. If you need more and there is still availability we can arrange for a later pickup.
We have received numerous calls regarding Chromebook Checkout.
We hope the following information answers your questions.
If you have a computer or tablet at home, & internet you do not need a Chromebook. (Your computer/tablet will access Canvas.)
We are limited on the number of Chromebooks that we have on hand to check out. (Please don’t check one out just to have one.)
Checkout is Wednesday, 3/18/2020, 8am-11am, Main Lobby at KHS. (Enter West Doors-Look for Signs.)
We are limiting the number of individuals in the building. (Social Distance) Please be patient as we try to serve everyone in an orderly but safe manner.
Chromebooks are limited to current KHS Students only.
A student or parent may checkout the Chromebook but picture ID is required.
Chromebooks have been sanitized & must be returned without damage. (You are responsible for damage or loss.)
Internet activity on Granite School District Chromebooks is filtered and monitored in the same way it is filtered and monitored at school.
You will need to connect to your home WiFi when you login to your Chromebook. Click on the WiFi icon in the right corner, find your network and connect with your password.
