Registration Information/Información de Inscripción

Welcome to Kearns High.  We will continue to have an online registration process. Parents will be registering their student(s) by ONLINE PROCESS ONLY through the Granite District homepage.

Our district is currently in the process of changing our registration program. The new forms will be available for access on August 1. Please visit the district’s registration information page which has step-by-step instructions to help you access the new platform. All users who had a portal account in the old system were transferred and can access the new system using the same username and password. Again – this WILL NOT be availble until August 1st.   You can access Focus directly here.

  • Student registration for the 2023-24 school year requires online internet access. If you do not have internet access, three sessions will be held at the school on August 4th.
  • Those applying for fee waiver will fill out the form ONLINE and will need to provide 2022 Tax Returns, OR (recent job loss verification, three recent check stubs, or TANF with current dates). Fee waivers must be applied for within 30 days of the student’s registration date and applied for every school year. If you have submitted a Fee Waiver Application and do not receive a school letter within two weeks, please contact our administration at 385-646-5380. Each individual student will need to be approved.
  • Parking Permits are $10.00 and will be issued only to 11th and 12th grade students due to the lack of parking.  See bookkeepers for parking form.  Cars without decals will be ticketed.
  • Free and reduced lunch applications can be found at www.myschoolapps.com  Only one application is needed per household.
  • Other school information regarding yearbook purchasing, attendance/truancy policies, school picture dates, counseling center, and counselor assignments by alphabet, bell schedules, lunch schedule, and other school information can be found on our Kearns High website at http://schools.graniteschools.org/kearnshigh
  • Because of District trainings, no registration will take place on August 10th.
  • August 16th is the first day of school. GTI busses will leave at 7:00 a.m. from the North parking lot. All GTI fees will be paid at their facility.
  • 9th Grade Orientation will be held on the first day of school at 7:30 am. 10th-12th graders will start at 9:30.

Bienvenidos a Kearns High. Continuaremos teniendo un proceso de registro en línea. Los padres registrarán a su (s) estudiante (s) SOLO POR PROCESO EN LÍNEA a través de la página de inicio del Distrito de Granite.

Nuestro distrito se encuentra actualmente en el proceso de cambiar nuestro programa de registro. Los nuevos formularios estarán disponibles para su acceso el 1 de agosto. Visite la página de información de registro del distrito que tiene instrucciones paso a paso para ayudarlo a acceder a la nueva plataforma.   • Aquellos que soliciten la exención de tarifas completarán el formulario EN LÍNEA y deberán proporcionar declaraciones de impuestos de 2022, O (verificación de pérdida de trabajo reciente, tres talones de cheques recientes o TANF con fechas actuales). Las exenciones de tarifas deben solicitarse dentro de los 30 días posteriores a la fecha de registro del estudiante y deben solicitarse para cada año escolar.  Si ha presentado una Solicitud de exención de tarifas y no recibe una carta de la escuela dentro de dos semanas, comuníquese con nuestra administración al 385-646-5380. También podrá ver el estado de su solicitud en el portal de Focus. Cada estudiante individual tendrá que ser aprobado.
  • Los permisos de estacionamiento cuestan $ 10.00 y se otorgarán solo a estudiantes de grado 11 y 12 debido a la falta de estacionamiento. Consulte a los tenedores de libros para obtener el formulario de estacionamiento. Los autos sin calcomanías serán multados.

  • El 16 de agosto es el primer día de clases. Los autobuses GTI saldrán a las 7:00 a. m. desde el estacionamiento del Norte. Todas las tarifas de GTI se pagarán en sus instalaciones.
  • La orientación de 9º grado se llevará a cabo el primer día de clases a las 7:30 am. Los estudiantes de los grados 10 a 12 comenzarán a las 9:30.
