Kearns High School
Welcome to Kearns High School. We are looking forward to another successful school year.
Kearns High will continue to have an online registration process. Parents will be registering their student(s) by ONLINE PROCESS ONLY through the Granite District homepage. Please go to http://portal.graniteschools.org and either log in or create a parent portal account.
All forms will be available for online registration beginning Monday, July 26. ALL students, including returning students, and incoming freshmen must be registered every year by the legal guardian through the portal. If you are aware of any new students that may be attending/enrolling at Kearns High, they will need to meet with the registrar. Please call 385-646-4175 for available times.
Once you have logged into your parent portal account, go directly to the District Resources Link, then click on the Registration Link to complete your 2021-2022 registration and payment of fees.
If you have not created a parent portal account for each of your secondary students, please do the following:

- Below the login information select create a Parent Portal Account. (Once your account has been activated, you will receive an email confirmation.)

On completion of the registration process and when your fees are paid, you should be able to print a copy of your student’s schedule within 48 hours through the parent email address we have on file.
Student registration for the 2021-22 school year requires online internet access. Those needing assistance because of no internet access may come during the following dates and times.

Granite District has an online program for students who require an alternative to face‐to‐ face learning due to COVID‐19 concerns. Important information about Granite Online Live can be found at https://www.graniteschools.org/graniteonline/ . Courses that meet graduation requirements are available in both live virtual sessions or self‐paced independent study courses. Please review the website prior to contacting the school about applying for Granite Online.
All parents who are applying for fee waiver will fill out the form ONLINE and will need to provide 2020 Tax Returns, OR (recent job loss verification, three recent check stubs, or TANF with current dates). Fee waivers must be applied for within 30 days of the student’s registration date and applied for every school year.
If you have trouble with the Fee Waiver Application, please e-mail one of our bookkeepers.

Basic school fees are $65.00. Please be aware individual class fees will be put on your student’s account after all class changes have been made. Parking Permits are $10.00 and will be issued only to 11th and 12th grade students due to the lack of parking. See bookkeepers for parking form. Cars without decals will be ticketed.
Free and reduced lunch applications can be found at www.myschoolapps.com Only one application is needed per household.

As we return to full in-person learning this fall, every student will be issued, and must use a Granite School District devise. No personal devices will be approved for student use while at school.

- Orientation – 9th Grade Students ONLY – will be in person starting 8:00 AM. Doors will be open at 7:30 AM
- August 16th
- First day of school – (A-Day) Regular schedule will begin at 7:30 AM. The GTI busses will leave at 7:00 AM from the North doors– All GTI fees will be paid at their facility.
- September 8th & 9th
- Student Pictures taken during English classes. Make-ups will be on October 27th & 28th
- September 27th & 28th
- Parent Teacher Conferences 4:00PM to 7:00 PM
