Registration Information/Información de Inscripción

Welcome to Kearns High.  We will continue to have an online registration process. Parents will be registering their student(s) by ONLINE PROCESS ONLY through Focus.

Registration forms will be available in Focus beginning on Thursday, July 31st at 8 am. Please visit the district’s registration information page which has step-by-step instructions to help you access the platform.  You can access Focus directly here.  You should have a parent account already set up unless you are new to Granite School District.  Please DO NOT set up an additional account.  You should use the password recovery feature to avoid duplicate accounts.

Student registration for the 2025-26 school year requires online internet access. If you do not have internet access, we will provide computer access and support on August 1st from 8 am – 6 pm in the Main Gym.

Those applying for fee waiver will fill out the form ONLINE and will need to provide 2024 Tax Returns, OR (recent job loss verification, three recent check stubs, or TANF with current dates). Fee waivers must be applied for within 30 days of the student’s registration date and applied for every school year. If you have submitted a Fee Waiver Application and do not receive a school letter within two weeks, please contact our administration at 385-646-5380. Each individual student will need to be approved.

Parking Permits are $10.00 and will be issued only to 11th and 12th grade students due to the lack of parking.  See bookkeepers for parking form.  Cars without decals will be ticketed.

Free and reduced lunch applications can be found here.  Only one application is needed per household.

Remember, yearbooks must be purchased directly through the Jostens website. The sooner you buy, the better the price!

August 13th is the first day of school. GTI busses will leave at 7:00 a.m. from the North parking lot. All GTI fees will be paid at their facility.

Class Change Schedule will be announced soon.

9th Grade Orientation will be held on August 12th from 7:30 am to 10:00 am.

Bienvenidos a la preparatoria Kearns. Continuaremos teniendo un proceso de registro en línea. Los padres registrarán a sus estudiantes SOLO POR PROCESO EN LÍNEA a través de Focus.

Los formularios de inscripción estarán disponibles en Focus a partir del lunes 31 de julio. Debe tener una cuenta para padres ya configurada a menos que sea nuevo en el Distrito Escolar Granite. NO configure una cuenta adicional. La inscripción de estudiantes para el año escolar 2025-26 requiere acceso a Internet en línea. Si no tiene acceso a Internet, le brindaremos acceso a una computadora y soporte el 1 de agosto en el gimnasio principal.

Aquellos que soliciten una exención de tarifas completarán el formulario EN LÍNEA y deberán proporcionar declaraciones de impuestos de 2024, O (verificación de pérdida de empleo reciente, tres talones de cheques recientes o TANF con fechas actuales). Las exenciones de tarifas deben solicitarse dentro de los 30 días posteriores a la fecha de inscripción del estudiante y aplicarse para cada año escolar. Si ha enviado una Solicitud de exención de tarifas y no recibe una carta de la escuela dentro de dos semanas, comuníquese con nuestra administración al 385-646-5380. Cada estudiante individual deberá ser aprobado.

Los permisos de estacionamiento cuestan $10.00 y se emitirán solo a estudiantes de 11.º y 12.º grado debido a la falta de estacionamiento. Consulte a los contables para obtener el formulario de estacionamiento. Los autos sin calcomanías serán multados.
