PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Support)/PRIDE

PRIDE Club is a class comprised of Student Ambassadors (PRIDE Ambassadors) that help run the PRIDE store during lunchtime and carry out other community building events. It is a peer leadership class during 3A.

PRIDE Club works to promote Kearns High Student excellence by rewarding students for positive behaviors

We encourage students to follow PRIDE and GOG (Graduate of Granite). We want to make a difference in our school by providing a more friendly and fun environment

- PRIDE cards are used to reward students for positive behaviors in and outside of the classroom.
- Students can earn PRIDE cards by:

Showing positive behavior, communication, and effort
- Following Kearns High PRIDE and GOG
- Following teachers’ expectations of PRIDE in the classroom

- Students who earn PRIDE cards can take them to the PRIDE store to “purchase” snacks, school supplies, and clothing items

The PRIDE store will be open on specific days during lunch.
