Hello William Penn Community!
We hope you are having a wonderful summer! This post is to provide you with information on registration for the 2020-2021 school year and the first day of school.
Registration for returning students will be conducted online this year. More detailed information will be coming, but it will be helpful for you to sign-up for a parent portal account on the Granite School District web site before the end of July. Registration for elementary students will be the same process completed for junior high and high school students. New students to William Penn will need to register in person at the school in the main office.
The first day of school for students in grades 1-5 will be Monday, August 24th, and Kindergarten will begin on Thursday, August 27th. We want you to know that school will be open and face to face instruction will be occurring. We will be following a regular schedule, and all students will be attending. Some parents/guardians may not feel safe sending their student to the school building, so distance learning will be available for them. More information on distance learning options and precautions that we will put in place to limit exposure to Covid 19 will be coming at the end of July.
