Dear William Penn Community,
We will be holding the Halloween Parade on Friday, Oct. 29th @ 9:00 a.m.
Community members are welcome to view the parade at the back of the school. We highly recommend community members wear a mask on our campus and practice physical distancing during this event.
If we encounter inclement weather, we will have the parade in the building for the students and broadcast the event via Facebook live for the community. We will broadcast the event via Facebook live in both situations.
We would like to remind families about the guidelines with Halloween costumes.
- While you may use face paint, please no masks (including masks attached to hoods).
- If the costume has accessories, please be sure they do not resemble weapons, and that they are appropriate for school. Please make sure costumes are modest and appropriate for school.
Parents are allowed to dress up and coordinate costumes with kids as long as they follow the same guidelines above. If you are planning to stay to help with class parties, please be sure to sign in at the office. For those who choose not to participate, we will have an alternate activity in the school. Please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
Spookily yours,
Nichole Higgins
