The winter weather has arrived! It is wonderful to see so many students dressed in warm clothing as the temperature is changing quickly. The Community Council has determined that students will be indoors when the temperature outside is below 20 degrees or extreme snow or rain is falling. We use the Weather Bug website to determine what the temperature is outside considering the wind chill factor.
A red sign will be posted on the front door indicating it is an inside day. In the morning, students will enter the building at 8:15 through their grade level doors and report to their classroom.
We would like to inform you of the procedures regarding school closure or delayed start. We will post information for William Penn Elementary on our school website, our Facebook page, and we will send a call to all our families. You may contact the Granite District Communications Office at 385-646-4529 to get information for all schools.
If you have any questions, please contact the main office at 385-646-4960.
