Do you understand that Student Council requires dedication, responsibility, hard work, and sacrifice?
Do you understand that you will attend weekly meetings on Fridays at 7:30 a.m. and other meetings/activities as needed, both before and after school?
Do you understand that you may miss class from time-to-time and it is your responsibility to stay caught up on your school work?
You will be placed on probation if your grades drop below average, and if your grades do not improve, you will be unable to participate on the Student Council for the remainder of the year.
Do you understand that you are a school leader, and should strive to set an example of consistent positive behavior and kindness?
After submitting this form you are responsible to submit two additional documents in writing. Check each box below to confirm you understand it is your responsibility to submit the additional documents to your homeroom teacher or the front office prior to the application deadline. You can also upload your essay below or email it to the principal, Mr. Bawden (bbawden1@graniteschools.org).
Failure to submit the teacher letter of reference and student essay before Thursday, August 29th will result in candidates being disqualified. Candidates will be interviewed on Friday, August 30th and winners will be announced on Tuesday, September 3rd.
