Growth Mindset for the Month
December’s Growth Mindset mantra is “We LOVE a challenge” We know that challenge is required in learning and growing, academics are no different! The quote for the month is, “If you aren’t in over your head, how do you know how tall you are?” -TS. Elliot
Mindful Moments & Kindness Ambassadors
Starting this month, Mrs. Olson & Ms. Shay will be leading us in Mindful Moment on Wednesdays to help us all learn to calm our minds and bodies to be the best versions of ourselves. We will also start having Kindness Ambassadors looking for kids “Caught being Kind!” Ask you student how they practice kindness & mindfulness in their lives.
Learning Choices for 3rd Quarter
The window for choosing face to face or distance learning closes on December 11th. Once submitted, this will need to be the same throughout quarter 3 (January19-March 25). It is VERY difficult for us to change arrangements in classrooms, consistency is key for learning success. Parents please review the Distance Learning expectations and supports we have for your students. You can find links for the documents on PG’s website, via email, and Class Dojo.
Fruits & Veggies Program
We are looking at fun bunch of fruits & veggies this month. Students will be snacking on multi-colored peppers, Rockit apples, and more! Ask you students what they like about their treats this week.

Principal’s Message
As we enter the Holiday season, I want to take time to reflect on the amazing things this community does daily. From the fabulous instruction our teachers & paras provide, to the super cleaning by Mr. D & crew, to the joyful greetings from Mrs. Inman & Mrs. Serrato, to the tasty goodies by Mrs. Howard & co, to the everyday support from parents & community; it is clear we are blessed to be at Pleasant Green. I wish you and your family a warm, happy & healthy Holiday season! Here’s to all the spectacular things to come in 2021!
Love, Mrs. Peterson, PG Head Gnomie
