Growth Mindset for the Month

3rd Quarter Learning

As we are entering the 2nd half of the year, it is important that we continue building momentum in learning. Parental interest in their learning encourages kids to do their best, and keep working through challenges. Please let your teacher know if you have questions about additional ways to support your students.

Rolling Food Pantry

We are so excited that we will now be hosting a Rolling Pantry at Pleasant Green starting January 19th! There will be an abundant supply of meal, snack and hygiene kits for students and families. We are so happy to be able to support our families in all their needs. Please reach out whenever you are in need and we can hook you up with some goodies!

Fruits & Veggies Program

We are looking at a fun bunch of fruits & veggies this month. Students will be snacking on Kona apples, red radishes, and more! Ask your students what they like about their treats this week.

Kindness Ambassadors are back!

Our PG community is excited to announce that Kindness Ambassadors are wanted and needed! Our January Ambassadors our looking for caring and respect. Ask your student if they were “Caught being Kind!”

Family Engagement Center!!

Ms. Sil continues to provide awesome parent support in a variety of areas- ESL classes for parents, computer classes, and more! If you would like to participate, contact Ms. Sil at scperkins@graniteschools.org or call 385-646-8943.

Winter Weather

Winter gear is needed for school as we still want to go outside for fresh air and get our wiggles out. Please let Ms. Sil or the office know if you are in need of any winter clothing.
