PANTHER NEWS – February 2021
Growth Mindset for the Month
February’s Growth Mindset mantra is “A goal without a plan is just a wish.” The quote for the month is, “Every worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph: a beginning, a struggle, and a victory.” -Mahatma Gandhi
Souper Bowl of Caring
Granite is proud to support the Souper Bowl of Caring supporting our Pantry and those around us. We will be participating in the Penny Wars Feb. 1st- 5th, so vote for who you think will win the big game, the Chiefs or Buccaneers. We are also accepting donations of non-perishable food or hygiene items. The online site is https://granitekids.org/news-events/events/souper-bowl-of-caring.html.
We Have a Food Pantry!
We are proud to announce that we now have a rolling food pantry from Granite Education Foundation. We are happy to give families meal kits, weekend kits, or snack packs. Please email her at scperkins@graniteschools.org or call 385-646-4972 to have some sent with your student!
Fruits & Veggies Program
We are looking at fun bunch of fruits & veggies this month. Students will be snacking on, blood oranges, Golden beets, and more! Ask your students what they like about their treats this week.
