For this short week, we are reading Triangle, by Mac Barnett, illustrated by Jon Klassen. This award-winning team is also behind the popular books, This is Not My Hat, We Found a Hat, The Wolf, the Duck and the Mouse, and Sam & Dave Dig a hole.
This book is about (obviously!) Triangle. It’s also about Triangle’s friend Square. And it is about a sneaky trick Triangle plays on his friend Square. Square has his own book, which we will be getting in the library shortly. This is an NPR Great Read of 2017, a BookPage Best Book of 2017, A School Library Journal Best Book of the Year, perfect for lower grades and early readers.
