April is National Poetry Month and this week is National Library Week! There’s a lot going on at Upland Terrace this week. But to celebrate in the library, we are exploring all kinds of poetry, including concrete poems. In Wet Cement: A Mix of Concrete Poems by Bob Raczka, the kids love to see how these poems look like their subject. We’re reading a poem about time that looks like a clock, and one about a balloon in the shape of a balloon. I’ll be encouraging one of the many poetry books we have for check-out!
