This week we are kicking off a new year of reading Beehive Book nominees for 2023 with The Yawns are Coming by Christopher Eliopoulos. This picture book nominee is a fun look at what happens when two friends decide to stay up all night. Can they avoid the Yawns and other sleepytime creatures who set in as it gets later and later? I’m daring students NOT to yawn while I read this book! We’ll vote on it in classes after we read it together. Lots of fun Beehive Books coming this year!
