Santa needs Reindeer!
To kick off the Holiday season in the library, we are reading a new book I got at the bookfair this year called, Who Will Pull Santa’s Sleigh? by Russ Willms. Santa is on the countdown to find animals who can pull his sleigh for the very first Christmas. So he puts together a job description and sends it out to all the animals. “Sleigh Pullers Wanted: Must be able to work as a team. Landing accuracy important. Only one night of work each year, plus see the world! Full benefits, including dental. Magic flying dust will be provided.” Santa gets A LOT of animals applying for the job, but are they really able to pull the sleigh? There are many animals that don’t seem quite right for the job, including elephants, sloths and even sharks! How will Santa ever find those perfect reindeer?? We’re having fun reading about all the animals who try out for this very important job!
