Hello Everyone,
We’ve made it to spring break! Only seven more weeks of school after a nice long break. We have a lot of fun coming in our final months of school, and we also enter testing season. I have attached a flyer about our upcoming tests, and more information will be coming home with your students after break. We hope to have excellent schoolwide attendance after spring break to ensure we’re able to meet our testing needs.
Another major event that will be coming up for us is a reunification drill. Every school in Granite School District needs to partake in one of these drills to be better prepared for all emergency scenarios. This drill will take place on May 6th. I have attached a flyer with more information about what that drill entails. As we approach the May 6th date, our district will give me more guidance to pass on to you about what it will look like and what we’ll need from you. For now, this is letting you know to save the date as we will need someone to pick up your student from school early on that day. (If your student rides the bus, they can still take the bus home and do not need someone to come if no one can make it before 3:45 that day).
