Musical Information
We are thrilled to be announcing this year’s spring musical: Peter Pan Jr- Broadway Version. Auditions will occur on November 17 & 18 from 3-6pm in room 110. Dance auditions will be on November 19th from 12:45 to 3:30pm. Sign up timesheets will be posted available on November 12th. This is a big commitment for parents and students so, please go to our theatre website and read the audition information carefully.
You can find many examples of this play on YouTube to help your student prepare for the audition. This is strictly an after-school activity therefore, students do NOT need to be enrolled in a theatre class to participate. We encourage students to audition whether they feel they can act, sing, dance or not because this is the perfect opportunity for students to learn and grow in the performing arts while making great memories and new friends.
Please be advised the musical performance dates are March 10th & 11th @ 7pm and the 12th @ 2 & 7pm as the incorrect date was posted at Back to School Night. Thank you!

College Application Week
Next week is College Week! All week long the counselors have planned fun activities. On Tuesday and Thursday there will be lunchtime activities.
On Wednesday we will start Hogwarts applications. This is an amazing opportunity for your student to practice filling out a mock college or scholarship application. Students who complete the application will get to go to Hogwarts Day in December.
On Friday it is a school super-fan day. Wear your favorite college or Wasatch t-shirt and gear. Let’s see if the University of Utah has more super fans or BYU.
Medical Equipment Drive
Due to a worldwide shortage of aluminum, hospitals are in desperate need of gently used crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, and canes. The supply chain is dry, with no indications of when these items will be available again. We know that people will continue to have strokes, surgeries, accidents, and injuries, whether or not the rehab equipment is available. So, let’s help!
Please check with your household, family, friends, and neighbors and see if you can donate any of the items listed above. Collections will happen the next three Saturdays: Oct 30, Nov 6, and Nov 13, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray. If you’d like your items to be picked up from your home, please contact Sarah Plummer.
